The Lamborghini Huracan Makes A Pit Stop In KL

Good news for the seven or so people in Malaysia who can afford to do anything about it – the new Lamborghini Huracan, successor to the flamboyant, utterly luxurious Gallardo, made an appearance in Kuala Lumpur as part of its display tour of Europe, America and Asia.

Shrouded in secrecy, the luxury sports car touched down in KL and was transported to the Lamborghini flagship centre in Glenmarie, Shah Alam, for an exclusive viewing party for 50 invited guests, prior to its official public debut at the Geneva Motor Show on March 6th.

The new ‘baby Lambo’ features a naturally aspirated 5.2 litre V10 engine packing 610hp with a peak torque of 560Nm, a newly developed seven-speed dual clutch transmission and an all-wheel drive system. The car also sports a new design heavily  inspired by its larger V12 sibling, the Lamborghini Aventador.

If you’re on the phone with your Swiss banker right now, hold your horses – this Raging Bull hasn’t had its price announced yet, but should be available on the Malaysian by the fourth quarter of this  year. Start saving.
