The haze continues to linger over the Klang Valley and its surrounding areas, with five locations registering unhealthy Air Pollutant Index (API) readings as of 6am today, according to the Department of Environment.
The five locations with a reading of over 100 points on the API scale are Nilai (116), Seremban (104), Kuala Selangor (106) Port Klang (154) and Putrajaya (115).
Elsewhere in Malaysia, 26 locations have returned moderate API readings, including Muar (86), Seri Aman (70) and Tanah Merah (53).
