Prime Minister Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has been on a social media tear of late, more so than in the previous years of his administrations, except maybe in the run-up to last year’s general elections. Apart from tweeting about his cycling tour of downtown KL at yesterday’s Car-Free Morning, the PM has just shared an album of photos from US president Barack Obama’s recent visit to Kuala Lumpur and Putrajaya on his official Facebook page.
The photos show Najib ushering Obama through official functions and introducing the US president to the Yang di-Pertuan Agong Tuanku Abdul Halim Mu’adzam Shah, their joint visit to officiate the Malaysian Global Innovation and Creativity Centre (MaGIC), the press conference they fielded together – but the highlights have to be the two selfies Najib took with Obama.
One of them was taken in the backseat of Cadillac One, popularly known (by trigger-happy Secret Service agents) as The Beast:
