We’ve always thought KL would be a kickass location for some high-octane parkour acrobatics, but this video, put together by ad agency CHI&Partners, turns the kinetic art of parkour into a surreal series of static – and beautiful – snapshots all over a serene nighttime Kuala Lumpur.
Done as part of automaker Lexus’s Amazing in Motion ad campaign, the #LexusStrobe video project brought together a team of 40 engineers and experts from Thailand, insane logistical preparation, and a troupe of stuntmen each wearing a suit made up of 1,680 LEDs. Seeing it all come together – and set against the familiar backdrop of Petaling Street and Jalan Raja Laut, among others – is really something else:
