No M’sian women involved in Islamic State ‘sexual jihad’, says Zahid

There’s no such thing as Malaysian ‘comfort women’ within the Islamic State, Home Minister Ahmad Zahid Hamidi revealed.

According to a report in The Star Online, he told Parliament today that news about Malaysian women participating in ‘Jihad Al-Nikah’ – a concept in which women offer themselves to Jihadists – were just rumours.

“The Government, via the police, had identified 39 Malaysians involved in militant activities like IS, of which one was a woman,” he was quoted as saying.

“However, that woman has been identified as the wife of one of the militants,” Zahid reportedly told the Dewan Rakyat.
