Sons of MH370 passenger sue MAS for breaching ‘flight agreement’

Troubled national carrier Malaysia Airlines (MAS) has been sued by two youngsters – the 11 and 13-year-old children of a passenger on board flight MH370.

The boys, through their mom Ng Pearl Ming and Messrs Rusmah Arunan and Associates, filed the lawsuit at the KL High Court today, the Star Online reported.

The boys said in their statement of claim that their businessman father Jee Jing Hang, 41, had entered a ‘flight agreement’ with MAS for a safe journey to Beijing when he booked the ill-fated flight.

The daily reported that the boys also claimed that MAS had breached this agreement when it failed to take all the necessary steps to ensure a safe flight.

Also named as defendants were the civil aviation director-general, immigration director-general, chief of air force and the Government.
