Over the next two years, KL-ites can expect to see over 3,000 charging stations for zero-emission vehicles in the city.
That is if KL Electric Mobility Sdn Bhd’s project – the ‘KL Electric A-gogo’- takes off as planned.
The Star Online’s Eugene Mahalingam reports that the company, which is a unit of US-based Masers Energy Inc will pump in RM1.5billion for this project. They would also, reportedly, be looking at setting up car sharing services.
The daily quoted KL Electric Mobility chairman and CEO Datuk Seri Suhaimi Abdul Rahman as saying that the project begins next month.
