Chinese New Year discount on toll rates at three highways

Highway concessionaire Prolintas is giving a 20 percent discount for motorists during the Chinese New Year period. 

This means those of you using the Ampang-Kuala Lumpur Elevated Highway (AKLEH), Guthrie Corridor Expressway (GCE), and Kemuning-Shah Alam Expressway (LKSA) get to enjoy reduced toll rates from 6am on Feb 19 to 6am the next day, Bernama reports.

But this rate only applies to those using the Touch ‘n Go and SmartTag lanes, its chief executive officer Zainuddin A.Kadir said in a statement.

“This discount is part of our continuous effort to provide added value to highway users and to encourage them to use ETC (Electronic Toll Collection) for a more quick and comfortable journey,” he was quoted as saying.
