Two Orang Asli girls found alive after 47-day disappearance

47 days after they were reported missing, two Orang Asli girls were found – alive – in the Pos Tohoi jungle near Gua Musang, Kelantan. 

The New Straits Times Online reports that 11-year old Mirsudiar Aluj and 10-year old Noreen Yaakob were positively identified by the Royal Malaysian Police as being the two chidlren found .

Both Mirsudiar and Noreen were discovered in extremely weak and emaciated condition.

The search and rescue team operating in the area have reportedly discovered the remains of another Orang Asli child today, bringing the total number of bodies believed to be from the group of seven missing  children to three.
