Indian movie megastar Rajinikanth has touched down in Kuala Lumpur for the filming of his latest movie, Kabali.
The Tamil silver screen icon, known for blockbuster box office hits such as Sivaji and Enthiran, arrived in KLIA yesterday evening, where he was immediately mobbed by adoring local fans, The Star Online reports.
Kabali will be Rajini’s 159th(!) movie, and finds him playing a mob boss, based on a real-life underworld kingpin.
The movie’s Malaysian shoots are expected to last a month, although it is not certain how long Rajini will be in the country.
The movie is set to be released next April.
