Rajinikanth wants to meet PM Najib (should we be scared?)

Global action movie superstars (who have played unstoppable killing machines) just can’t get enough of our Prime Minister, it seems.

Not even a fortnight has passed since PM Najib was spotted chumming it up with The Terminator, Arnold Schwarzeneger, in Nobu KL, and now Rajinikanth, another silver screen icon with an impressive body count, wants to be granted an audience with our premier.

Currently shooting scenes for his upcoming movie Kabali in Malaysia, Rajini has passed on a meesage to the Prime Minister’s Department that the Kollywood star would like a sit-down with the PM, at the expense of his tight filming schedule.

The request was confirmed by Abdul Malik Dasthigeer, managing director of Malik Streams Corporation, Rajini’s Malaysian handlers during this month’s shoots.

“Once the Prime Minister has confirmed his dates, we will delay the shoot on that day for a while,” he told The Star Online‘s T Avineshwaran today.

“Both the Prime Minister and Rajnikanth want to meet each other. We hope it happens.”

We hope that if the meeting with the PM happens, Rajinikanth won’t have any more issues procuring a limousine to get to Putrajaya. Those Hello Kitty rides can be such a pain.
