Malaysians spend more time in traffic jams this year

An online survey done by carmaker Ford has revealed what we Malaysians have suspected all along: we spend too much damn time stuck in traffic jams!

In the survey, the company said that out of 1,050 respondents from Malaysia, 55% of them said they spent more time in traffic compared to a year ago.

“More than one in five said their commute was the worst part of the day,” said Ford in a statement on Tuesday, which was reported by Bernama.

The company also added that Malaysians were the second most likely to report an increase in the cost of their commute compared to a year earlier, which at 75 per cent was behind only Hong Kong.

Judging by the toll hikes and increase in petrol prices, we are not at all surprised.
