A salesgirl fell to her death from the fourth floor of a shopping complex in Bukit Bintang on Thursday, The Star Online reports.
Dang Wangi OCPD Asst Comm Zainol Samah told the news portal that passers-by found the 26-year-old woman sprawled in a pool of blood in front of the mall at 2pm.
An emergency call was made and an ambulance from the Malaysian Red Crescent Society arrived at the scene 10 minutes later, said ACP Zainol.
“A paramedic pronounced her dead at the scene.
“A family member said she had been suffering from a mental disorder since she was three years old.
“She had been receiving treatment at Hospital Ampang,” ACP Zainol was quoted as saying, adding that the case has been classified as sudden death.
