The police have reportedly solved the Taman OUG shooting case which gripped the nation a few weeks ago.
According to The Star Online, Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Khalid Abu Bakar revealed, via Twitter, that eight suspects have been arrested in connection with the case.
“Well done STAFFOC dan JSJ KL @PDRMsia for solving the OUG shooting case involving a woman and her child, 8 arrested in KL and Perak, pistol seized yesterday,” he tweeted.
On July 6, 32-year-old real estate agent, Datin Renyce Wong Siew Ling, was shot to death at close range by two gunmen on a motorcycle while she was driving her MPV in Taman OUG.
The suspects reportedly fired five shots at the vehicle, one of which hit the woman in the neck.
A stray bullet hit the girl, who was sitting in the passenger seat, and pierced her intestines in nine places. The girl has reportedly regained consciousness on July 11.
