Toddler left to die in a box by the roadside in Ipoh recuperating well

A two-year-old boy, who was found in a box by the roadside in Ipoh, is reportedly recuperating well, according to The Star Online.

The boy reportedly suffered from a brain hemorrhage and is believed to have been left by the roadside to die.

A passer-by reportedly found the unconscious toddler inside a box along Jalan Ampang Baru 6 at about 1.30pm on July 30. The passer-by immediately rushed the boy to the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital.

According to the news report, the boy has reportedly regained consciousness and is able to breathe on his own.

Meanwhile, the police, who believed that the boy was a victim of child abuse, are appealing for witnesses to help facilitate investigations.
