Be careful what you say on social media, it will come back and bite you in the butt.
Local actress Nur Fathia Latiff found out the hard way when one of her tweets drew the ire of Netizens.
On Monday, the 29-year-old sent out a picture of a Malaysia Airlines (MAS) stewardess via her official Twitter page and in the caption, she slammed the stewardess for allegedly refusing to help her carry her bag and placed it in the overhead compartment.
“Minta tolong angkatkan bag but this stewardess cakap ada backache! Get some rest la tak payah kerja kalau ada back ache. Kudos @masMalaysia (Asked this stewardess to help me carry my bag but she said she has a backache. If you have a backache, get some rest and don’t come to work),” she said in the tweet, which has since been deleted.
Of course, her ‘diva’ attitude didn’t sit well with Netizens, who came to the cabin crew’s aid and bombarded Nur Fathia’s Twitter page with some really nasty words:
On Tuesday, probably after sitting through the entire day watching hate comments flood her phone’s notification bar, Nur Fathia took to her social media page to defend herself in a series of tweets:
Whatever the reason may be, next time, try and carry your own bags yeah, Nur Fathia?
